Eleventh-ranked Otto Caserta (8-10) made lots of trouble for first ranked Montepaschi Siena (14-5) on Sunday. The visitors from Siena managed to secure only two-point victory 80-78. However their fans expected much easier game. The guests trailed by 2 points at the halftime before their 39-35 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Montepaschi Siena made 22-of-26 free shots (84.6 percent) during the game. 26 personal fouls committed by Otto Caserta helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was Serbian guard Igor Rakocevic (193-78) who scored 20 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists.
