Top ranked Canarias (17-5) recorded its fifth loss in Tenerife on Sunday night. Hosts were edged by twelfth ranked CB Clavijo (10-12) 83-81. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Canarias. The guests trailed by 2 points after three quarters before their 24-20 charge, which allowed them to win the game. American point guard Mathew Witt (183-84, college: E.Kentucky) fired 25 points and 8 assists for the winners. Slovenian power forward Sasa Zagorac (205-84) chipped in a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds.
