Regular Season Round 25: Anwil - Siarka Jezioro 86-70

Rather predictable result in Wloclawek where fourth ranked Anwil (16-7) defeated 8th ranked Siarka Jezioro (10-13) 86-70. The game was mostly controlled by Anwil. Siarka Jezioro was better in third quarter 21-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a very good performance for Bosnian forward Seid Hajric (203-83) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 29 points and 16 rebounds. International guard Dardan Berisha (192-88, agency: INVICTUS Sports Group) contributed with 18 points for the winners. American point guard Josh Miller (169, college: W.Virginia St., agency: Hart Sports Mngm) answered with 21 points and 6 assists and the other American import guard J.T. Tiller (191-88, college: Missouri, agency: Hart Sports Mngm) added 12 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Siarka Jezioro. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Anwil moved-up to second place, which they share with Energa Czarni. Siarka Jezioro at the other side keeps the eighth position with 13 games lost. Anwil's next round opponent will be AZS Politechnika Warszawska (#12) in Warszawa and are hoping to win another game. Siarka Jezioro will play at home against the league's leader Trefl Sopot (#1).
