No shocking result in a game when sixth ranked Chanson V-M (11-17) crushed bottom-ranked Aishin Wings (2-26) in Shizuoka 77-54 on Sunday. The hosts trailed by 3 points at the halftime before their 42-16 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Chanson V-M dominated on the defensive end, holding Aishin Wings to just 7 points in fourth quarter. Chanson V-M forced 24 Aishin Wings turnovers. The winners were led by swingman Key Miho (176-85) who scored that evening 22 points and the former international power forward Yuka Watanabe (181-81) supported her with 15 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Chanson V-M players scored in double figures. Even 14 points and 6 rebounds by power forward Shiyu Sato (178-87) did not help to save the game for Aishin Wings.
