No shocking result in a game when fifth ranked Santo Andre (8-5) smashed at home bottom-ranked Sao Caetano (0-12) 76-55 on Monday. The game without a history. Santo Andre led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Sao Caetano to just 7 points in first quarter. Santo Andre made 24-of-25 free shots (96.0 percent) during the game, while Sao Caetano only scored six points from the stripe. Santo Andre forced 21 Sao Caetano turnovers. International center Nadia Gomes (195-89) fired a double-double by scoring 14 points and 13 rebounds for the winners.
