Regular Season Round 27: Waterloo - Windsor 90-85

An interesting game was played in Waterloo, ON where host Warriors (#8) won against 4th placed Lancers 90-85 on Wednesday evening. Lancers were tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. It was a great evening for naturalized Bosnian Srdjan Pejicic who led his team to a victory scoring 28 points. Guard Cam McIntyre (191-87) helped adding 16 points. Warriors' coach Tom Kieswetter allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. The best for the losing side was international forward Lien Phillip (203-89) with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 19 rebounds and guard Rotimi Osuntola (196-92) scored 23 points and 5 rebounds. Five Warriors and four Lancers players scored in double figures. Warriors maintains eighth place with 5-14 record. Loser Lancers keep the fourth position with seven games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
