Regular Season Round 20: Inea AZS - Odra Brzeg 53-63

Not a big story in a game in Poznan where 14th ranked Inea AZS (1-19) was defeated by twelfth ranked Odra Brzeg (5-15) 63-53. The game was mostly controlled by Odra Brzeg. Inea AZS was better in fourth quarter 17-9. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. American guard Jessica Starling (186, college: S.Alabama) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 11 rebounds. Ukrainian guard Inna Kochubei (174-82) contributed with 15 points for the winners. Odra Brzeg's coach Wadim Czeczuro allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Center Joanna Kedzia (193-87) replied with 11 points and 8 rebounds and forward Aneta Kotnis (186-89) added 10 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Inea AZS. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Odra Brzeg moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with Tecza Leszno. Inea AZS at the other side stay dead last with 19 lost games. Odra Brzeg will play against league's leader Wisla Can-Pak in Krakow in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Inea AZS will play on the road against Tecza Leszno (#11) to get more than just one victory in their record.
