No shocking result in a game when eleventh ranked Hondarribia-Irun (5-13) defeated at home 13th ranked Navarra Pamplona (4-15) 73-55. Navarra Pamplona was tied at the half but could not keep up in last two quarters eventually losing the game. Strangely Navarra Pamplona outrebounded Hondarribia-Irun 41-26 including 17 on the offensive glass. Forward Amaya Gastaminza (189-91, college: Oregon St., agency: Josep and Nicolas) notched 9 points and 11 rebounds to lead the effort and point guard Sandra Ygueravide (172-84, agency: Josep and Nicolas) supported her with 16 points. Four Hondarribia-Irun players scored in double figures. Even 19 points and 9 rebounds by Serbian power forward Jovana Rad (187-87, agency: Josep and Nicolas) did not help to save the game for Navarra Pamplona.
