Not a big story in a game when 12th ranked Boca Juniors (8-12) lost to third ranked Sionista (15-6) in Buenos Aires 66-77 on Friday. The guests trailed by 8 points after first quarter, but they stormed back and won the game by 11 points. Sionista outrebounded Boca Juniors 42-31 including a 34-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a good game for Puerto Rican guard Johwen Villegas (193-85, college: FIU) who led his team to a victory with 26 points and 9 rebounds. American power forward Hakeem Rollins (202-83, college: Washington, agency: Dream Team Management) contributed with 11 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Four Sionista players scored in double figures. American swingman Will Graves (198-88, college: N.Carolina) answered with 16 points and the other American import power forward Derrick Alston (208-72, college: Duquesne, agency: Priority Sports) added 8 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Boca Juniors. Boca Juniors' coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Sionista have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain third place with 15-6 record behind leader Penarol. Boca Juniors lost third consecutive game. They keep the twelfth position with 12 games lost. Sionista will face GECR Indalo (#11) in Comodoro R. in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Boca Juniors will play at home against San Martin Corrientes.
