Very important is a loss of first ranked Dacin Tigers (10-3) against seventh ranked Bank of Taiwan (3-10) on Friday night. Dacin Tigers were defeated by Bank of Taiwan in a tough game 59-67. Dacin Tigers were ahead by 2 points at the halftime before a 43-33 second half run of Bank of Taiwan. American power forward John Vaudreuil (203-85, college: Minn.-Duluth, agency: Warren Sports International) notched a double-double by scoring 12 points and 24 rebounds to lead the effort and the former international forward Chih-Chiang Hsu (194-82) supported him with 17 points and 5 rebounds. Four Bank of Taiwan players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 17 points and 13 rebounds by Belizean-American power forward Noel Felix (205-81, college: Fresno St.) did not help to save the game for Dacin Tigers. The former international forward Lei Tien (203-83) added 5 points and 8 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Bank of Taiwan maintains seventh position with 3-10 record. Dacin Tigers at the other side still keep top place with three games lost. Bank of Taiwan's next round opponent will be league's leader Pure Youth and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Dacin Tigers will play against Taiwan Beer.
