Regular Season Round 16: Las Rozas - Lan Mobel ISB 76-57

Rather expected game when 8th ranked Lan Mobel ISB (7-8) was crushed on the road by sixth ranked Las Rozas (9-6) 76-57. The game was mostly controlled by Las Rozas. Lan Mobel ISB was better in fourth quarter 17-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The winners were led by center Ivan Cruz (205-91) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 10 points and 12 rebounds and American swingman Nick Wolf (198-88, college: Rollins, agency: KMG Sports Management) supported him with 14 points and 7 rebounds. Four Las Rozas players scored in double figures. Even 10 points and 5 rebounds by Nigerian power forward Olasumbo Atoyebi (203-88, college: Elon) did not help to save the game for Lan Mobel ISB. American-French guard Alfredo Ott (193-83, college: Dillard) added 10 points for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Las Rozas moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Barca Regal II and Aurteneche M. Lan Mobel ISB at the other side keeps the eighth position with eight games lost. They share it with Avila. Las Rozas will play against Aurteneche M. (#4) in Vitoria-Gasteiz in the next round. Lan Mobel ISB will play at home against Gandia Basquet (#11) in Valencia and hopes to get back on the winning track.
