Another interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Toronto, ON: Rams (#3) and Lions (#6). Rams (11-8) won against visiting Lions (3-16) 91-76. The hosts trailed by 2 points at the halftime before their 56-39 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. It was a great shooting night for Rams especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.6 percentage. The winners were led by Jordon Gauthier who scored that evening 25 points and 7 rebounds and guard Ola Adegboruwa (185) supported him with 16 points and 5 rebounds. Even 21 points and 8 rebounds by Richard Iheadindu did not help to save the game for Lions. Guard David Tyndale (180) added 11 points and 4 assists for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Rams have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 11-8 record behind leader Saskatchewan. Lions lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the sixth place with 16 games lost. Rams will meet at home Voyageurs (#4) in the next round. Lions' supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Toronto, ON to the arena Blues.
