Bottom-ranked Energy Invest (0-12) is still winless. This time they lost on the road their 12th consecutive match to third ranked Kutaisi (9-3) 69-60 on Friday evening. The hosts started the game with a very strong first quarter 21-12. But Energy Invest won second period 19-14. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Energy Invest 44-31 including 33 on the defensive glass. Kutaisi looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Forward Rezo Didia (203-87) fired 23 points and 6 assists for the winners. Naturalized Azerbaijan forward Davit Barbakadze (203-82) chipped in a double-double by scoring 14 points and 13 rebounds. Four Kutaisi players scored in double figures. Guard Luka Khmelidze (195-92) produced 17 points and 8 rebounds and Cameroonian forward Talba Toudjani (201-80) added 8 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for lost side. Kutaisi maintains third place with 9-3 record having just one points less than leader Armia. Energy Invest lost their twelfth game in a row. They still closes the standings with 12 games lost. Kutaisi will meet at home league's leader Armia in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week.
