There was no surprise when bottom-ranked RMC (0-19) was outleveled by top-ranked Ravens (19-0) in Kingston, ON 115-43 on Friday. The game without a history. Ravens led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding RMC to just 7 points in first quarter. Ravens dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to RMC's 18 and made 18-of-21 free shots (85.7 percent) during the game. They outrebounded RMC 40-14 including a 13-2 advantage in offensive rebounds. Quite impressive performance for forward Kevin Churchill (198) who helped to win the game recording 12 points and 9 rebounds (perfect from the field making all six shots). Forward Dan Penner (201) contributed with 10 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Five Ravens players scored in double figures. Alexandre Lavoie replied with 15 points and guard Connor Duke (191) added 12 points in the effort for RMC. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Ravens have an impressive 19-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 19-0 record. Loser RMC still closes the standings with 19 games lost. Ravens will face Golden Gaels (#7) in Kingston, ON in the next round where they are favorite. RMC will play at home against the league's second-placed Gee-Gees in Ottawa, ON and hopes to get finally their first victory.
