Regular Season Round 32: Guangsha L. - Zhejiang CB 110-101

The game between closely ranked teams ended with 9th ranked Zhejiang Cyclones' (15-14) road loss to eighth ranked Zhejiang Guangsha Lions (17-13) 101-110 on Friday. Zhejiang Guangsha Lions forced 22 Zhejiang Cyclones turnovers. Strangely Zhejiang Cyclones outrebounded Zhejiang Guangsha Lions 51-39 including 23 on the offensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Wilson Chandler (203-87, college: De Paul) who helped to win the game recording 46 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds and American-Puerto Rican center Peter John Ramos (222-85) who added 21 points and 16 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) during the contest. American guard J.R. Smith (198-85) responded with 33 points (!!!), 7 rebounds and 4 assists and international power forward Jinhui Ding (204-89) produced a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds. Five Zhejiang Cyclones players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Zhejiang Guangsha Lions moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Shanghai S. Zhejiang Cyclones lost third consecutive game. They keep the ninth position with 14 games lost. Zhejiang Guangsha Lions will face bottom-ranked Jiangsu Dragons (#17) in Nanjing in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Zhejiang Cyclones will play on the road against Jilin Tigers (#12) in Changchun.
