The game in Athens supposed to be also quite interesting. 7th ranked Doxa Lefkadas (9-9) played at the court of eighth ranked Nea Kifisia (10-8). Nea Kifisia smashed Doxa Lefkadas 76-52 on Saturday. The game without a history. Nea Kifisia led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 19-of-22 free shots (86.4 percent) during the game. Nea Kifisia outrebounded Doxa Lefkadas 43-14 including a 31-11 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was guard Savas Nikitakis (184-76) who scored 17 points and 7 assists. The former international guard Filippos Moschovitis (190-78) chipped in 15 points. At the other side the best for losing team was power forward Kostas Tsotsos (205-83) who recorded 14 points and Serbian guard Marko Pekovic (193-81, agency: BeoExcell) added 11 points respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Nea Kifisia moved-up to fifth place, which they share with AEK and Lavrio. Doxa Lefkadas at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the eighth position with nine games lost. They share it with OFI and Ermis Lagkada. Nea Kifisia's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Athens to the arena Amyntas Dafnis.
