Guaros (2-4) outlasted Trotamundos (2-4) in overtime by two points 71-69 on Saturday night. Trotamundos were tied after three quarters and then recorded another tie at the end of regular time. They were eventually defeated in overtime 9-11s. Guaros held Trotamundos to an opponent 0.0 percent shooting from the field compared to 0.0 percent accuracy of the winners. American forward Damone Brown (204-79, college: Syracuse, agency: Interperformances) stepped up and scored 20 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners and his fellow American import guard Smush Parker (193-81, college: Fordham) chipped in 15 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists.
