Kronos AD (#8) forced the game against DAS Ano Liosa (#7) into a double-overtime, but lost by two points 88-90 on Saturday night. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Kronos AD. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Kronos AD won fourth quarter 23-18. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening, at least not yet. The game turned upside-down in the last quarter, where Kronos AD used huge pressure winning it 23-18 getting a tie at the end of regular time. They lost eventually double-overtime period 9-9. DAS Ano Liosa dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Kronos AD's 28. DAS Ano Liosa forced 28 Kronos AD turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Ioanna Diela (175-90) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 8 rebounds. Guard Christina Navrozidou (176-92) contributed with 17 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. DAS Ano Liosa's coach Aggelos Giannoulakis used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Forward Maria Michou (182-83) replied with 25 points, 8 rebounds, 8 assists and 5 steals and Serbian power forward Milena Vukicevic (188-80) added 20 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Kronos AD. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. DAS Ano Liosa have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to sixth place. Newly promoted Kronos AD keeps the eighth position with ten games lost. DAS Ano Liosa will face FEA Neas (#7) in Halkidon in the next round. Kronos AD will play at home against the league's leader Athinaikos in Athens.
