Very predictable result when second ranked Perfumerias Avenida (17-2) rolled over on the road 13th ranked Navarra Pamplona (4-16) 72-49 on Saturday. Perfumerias Avenida dominated on the defensive end, holding Navarra Pamplona to just 6 points in third quarter. It was a very good performance for American guard DeWanna Bonner (193-87, college: Auburn, agency: Josep and Nicolas) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 24 points and 14 rebounds. Brazilian center Erika De Souza (197-82, agency: Josep and Nicolas) contributed with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 13 rebounds for the winners. American forward Melissa Dennett (188-83, college: Colorado St.) answered with 9 points and 12 rebounds and Croatian swingman Amra Dapo (184-76, agency: Josep and Nicolas) added 14 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Navarra Pamplona. Perfumerias Avenida have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain second place with 17-2 record having just -11 point less than leader Ros Casares. Navarra Pamplona lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the thirteenth position with 16 games lost. Perfumerias Avenida will face Real Celta Vigo (#11) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Navarra Pamplona will play against Rivas Ecopolis.
