Very important is a home loss of third ranked Bishop's (5-7) against fourth ranked UQAM (5-8) on Saturday night. Host Bishop's were defeated by UQAM in a tough game in Sherbrooke 58-62. Bishop's were ahead by 5 points at the halftime before a 32-23 second half run of UQAM. Guard Valerie Gauvin orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists. Center Emie Simard (183) contributed with 13 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Guard Gabrielle Chamberland (175) replied with 16 points and 6 rebounds and center Danna Janvier (182) added 9 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Bishop's. Bishop's' coach Alex Perno rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. UQAM have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain fourth position with 5-8 record. Bishop's lost third consecutive game. They keep the third place with seven games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
