Very important is a road loss of third ranked Sionista (15-7) against eleventh ranked GECR Indalo (10-11) on Sunday night. Visiting Sionista was crushed by GECR Indalo in Comodoro R. 88-65. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Sionista. The game was mostly controlled by GECR Indalo. Sionista was better in third quarter 18-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a great shooting night for GECR Indalo especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.4 percentage. The former international forward Roberto Gabini (198-75, agency: Interperformances) notched 17 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) to lead the effort and American forward Edward Nelson (203-82, college: Connecticut, agency: Dream Team Management) supported him with 12 points (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Even 16 points and 7 rebounds by American power forward Hakeem Rollins (202-83, college: Washington, agency: Dream Team Management) did not help to save the game for Sionista. Forward Alejandro Zilli (200-82) added 11 points for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. GECR Indalo have an impressive five-game winning streak. They moved-up to ninth place. Sionista at the other side keeps the third position with seven games lost. They share it with Libertad S.. GECR Indalo will play against league's second-placed Obras in Buenos Aires in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Sionista will play at home against Atenas in Cordoba and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
