Sixteenth-ranked San Martin Corrientes (5-17) gave a tough game to twelfth ranked Boca Juniors (9-12) in Buenos Aires on Sunday. Boca Juniors managed to secure only one-point victory 70-69. However their fans expected much easier game. The hosts trailed by 15 points after three quarters before their 27-11 charge, which allowed them to win the game. American power forward Derrick Alston (208-72, college: Duquesne, agency: Priority Sports) fired 19 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Guard Juan Brussino (185-91) chipped in 16 points. Boca Juniors' coach Oscar Sanchez used a ten-player rotation in such tough game.
