There was no surprise in Halifax, NS where 8th ranked Sea Hawks (1-15) were defeated by sixth ranked Huskies (8-9) 74-63 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Huskies. Sea Hawks was better in third quarter 23-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The best player for the winners was Brian Rouse who scored 22 points. Nigerian guard Harry Ezenibe (190-87) chipped in 9 points and 10 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was center Jason Shepherd (193-89) who recorded 16 points and 6 rebounds and guard Mark Woodland (183-87) added 15 points and 7 rebounds respectively. Sea Hawks' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Huskies moved-up to fifth place. Sea Hawks lost fourteenth consecutive game. They keep the eighth position with 15 games lost. Huskies will face Varsity Reds (#7) in Fredericton, NB in the next round.
