The hosts trailed by 6 points after three quarters before their 24-14 charge, which allowed them to win the game. International guard Nicolas Laprovittola (189-90) fired 13 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Panamanian power forward Jamaal Levy (206-83, college: Wake Forest) chipped in 13 points and 6 rebounds. Five Lanus players scored in double figures.
