There was an upset in Ningbo where higher ranked Liaoning Hunters (14-17) were defeated by fifteenth ranked Bayi Fubang (10-20) 99-87 on Sunday. The game without a history. Bayi Fubang led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Strangely Liaoning Hunters outrebounded Bayi Fubang 49-36 including a 19-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. Liaoning Hunters were plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was the former international forward Lei Wang (203-86) who scored 25 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. The former international center ZhongHao Xu (212-90) chipped in 17 points and 7 rebounds. Bayi Fubang's coach Chang Bin Adijan used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. At the other side the best for losing team was center Dejun Han (215-89) who recorded a double-double by scoring 15 points and 14 rebounds and the former international center Xiaoxu Li (207-90) added 8 points and 16 rebounds respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Bayi Fubang moved-up to fourteenth place. Liaoning Hunters lost seventh consecutive game. They keep the eleventh position with 17 games lost. Bayi Fubang will face league's leader Guandong Tigers in Dongguan in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
