A very interesting game took place in Tianjin. It ended with only one-point home defeat of 14th ranked TianJin Rongcheng (10-21) to sixteenth ranked Foshan (9-22) 116-115 on Sunday evening. 25 personal fouls committed by TianJin Rongcheng helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Syrian guard Michel Maadanly (195-81) nailed a double-double by scoring 35 points (!!!), 11 rebounds and 5 assists for the winning side and American-Filipino power forward Marcus Douthit (210-80, college: Providence, agency: Edge Sports) accounted for 18 points and 18 rebounds. American power forward Donnell Harvey (203-80, college: Florida) came up with a double-double by scoring 23 points, 20 rebounds and 6 assists and Ivorian-French power forward Mamadou Lamizana (207-81, college: Rutgers, agency: VVG Sports) added 25 points, 8 rebounds and 4 blocks respectively for TianJin Rongcheng in the defeat. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Foshan maintains sixteenth place with 9-22 record. TianJin Rongcheng at the other side dropped to the fifteenth position with 21 games lost. Foshan's next round opponent will be higher ranked Qingdao Double Star (#9) at home and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
