Another interesting game for Kiryat Tivon (10-8) which played in Nes Ziyona against Ironi Nes-Ziona (9-9). Fifth ranked Kiryat Tivon had an easy win 93-83. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Ironi Nes-Ziona. The guests were tied after three quarters but managed to speed up in last quarter eventually winning the game. They shot the lights out from three nailing 13 long-distance shots on high 59.1 percentage. The best for the losing side was forward Raz Zehavian (197-82) with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds and point guard Dori Assaf (178-87, agency: Avi Zilberman) produced a double-double by scoring 16 points and 13 assists. Four Kiryat Tivon and five Ironi Nes-Ziona players scored in double figures. Kiryat Tivon moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Hod Hasharon and Hapoel Afula. Ironi Nes-Ziona at the other side dropped to the seventh position with nine games lost. Kiryat Tivon will play against league's second-placed Beer Yaakov on the road in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Ironi Nes-Ziona will play against Hapoel Yokneam/Megido (#14) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
