The game in Minsk supposed to be also quite interesting. Fifth ranked SBK Osipovichi (6-11) played at the court of 6th ranked Minsk-2006 II (6-11). SBK Osipovichi smashed Minsk-2006 II 90-60 on Tuesday. The game without a history. SBK Osipovichi led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Minsk-2006 II to just 7 points in fourth quarter. SBK Osipovichi forced 23 Minsk-2006 II turnovers. The best player for the winners was guard Sergej Vabischevich (190-88) who scored 29 points and 7 rebounds (on 11-of-13 shooting from the field). The former international point guard Siarhei Charykau (184-82, college: Yakima Valley CC) chipped in 13 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals. Five SBK Osipovichi players scored in double figures. Lithuanian forward Ronaldas Rutkauskas (203-92) produced 9 points and 12 rebounds and center Vladimir Krisevich (210) added 13 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the hosts. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. SBK Osipovichi maintains fifth place with 6-11 record, which they share with defeated Minsk-2006 II. SBK Osipovichi will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Minsk-2006 II will play against the league's leader Grodno-93 (#1) and hope to secure a win.
