Rather expected game in La Guaira where 8th ranked Gaiteros (2-7) were defeated by fifth ranked Bucaneros (4-3) 89-83. Gaiteros were ahead by 8 points after three quarters before a 26-12 charge of Bucaneros, which allowed them to win the game. They held Gaiteros to an opponent 0.0 percent shooting from the field compared to 0.0 percent accuracy of the winners. 29 personal fouls committed by Gaiteros helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Sek Henry (193-87, college: Nebraska) who helped to win the game recording 21 points and 8 rebounds.
