Round 19 in Lega2 means a new league leader. The biggest surprise took place in Bologna where host Biancoblu BO (7-11) beat league's leader Tuscany Pistoia (13-6) 76-69 on Wednesday evening. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Tuscany Pistoia. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. 24 personal fouls committed by Tuscany Pistoia helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Forward Patrick Baldassarre (200-86, agency: Players Group) fired a double-double by scoring 11 points and 16 rebounds for the winners. The former international guard Andrea Pecile (187-80) chipped in 18 points and 5 rebounds. American guard Dwight Hardy (188-87, college: St.John's) produced 26 points and the other American import forward Bobby Jones (201-84, college: Washington) added 9 points and 12 rebounds respectively for lost side. Biancoblu BO have a solid series of three victories in a row. Newly promoted Biancoblu BO maintains eleventh place with 7-11 record. Tuscany Pistoia at the other side dropped to the second position with six games lost. They share it with Enel Brindisi and Givova Scafati. They were replaced at the leadership position by Trenkwalder. Tuscany Pistoia will play next round against S.Antimo trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Biancoblu BO will try to continue on its current victory against thirteenth ranked MarcoPoloShop.it in Forli.
