Very predictable result when sixth ranked Shanghai Sharks (18-14) won against 15th ranked TianJin Rongcheng (10-22) in Tianjin 89-85 on Wednesday. The guests trailed by 1 point after three quarters before their 21-16 charge, which allowed them to win the game. It was a very good performance for international center ZhaoXu Zhang (221-87, college: California) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 7 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). American forward Marcus Landry (201-85, college: Wisconsin) contributed with 21 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. American power forward Donnell Harvey (203-80, college: Florida) replied with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 17 rebounds and forward Nan Zhang (197-81) added 22 points in the effort for TianJin Rongcheng. Five Shanghai Sharks and four TianJin Rongcheng players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Shanghai Sharks maintains sixth position with 18-14 record, which they share with Guangsha L. TianJin Rongcheng lost third consecutive game. They keep the fifteenth place with 22 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
