Worth to mention about the upset in a game between Qingdao Double Star (16-16) and Foshan (10-22), which took place in Foshan. Higher ranked Qingdao Double Star lost to sixteenth ranked Foshan in a road game 101-107 on Wednesday. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Qingdao Double Star. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Qingdao Double Star won fourth quarter 25-21. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Qingdao Double Star was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a very good performance for Syrian guard Michel Maadanly (195-81) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 25 points and 11 rebounds. American forward Marcus Haislip (208-80, college: Tennessee) contributed with 27 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. American guard Lester Hudson (191-84, college: Tenn-Martin) replied with a double-double by scoring 34 points (!!!) and 14 rebounds and forward Gen Li (196-88) added 23 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Qingdao Double Star. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Qingdao Double Star's coach let to play ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Foshan moved-up to fifteenth place, which they share with TianJin R. Loser Qingdao Double Star keeps the ninth position with 16 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
