Very expected game when 14th ranked Ibiza (3-17) was defeated at home by tenth ranked Cajarural (6-14) 88-71 on Wednesday. The game without a history. Cajarural led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Ibiza's 36. They outrebounded Ibiza 42-30 including a 28-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of Polish forward Daria Mieloszynska (188-83, college: Texas, agency: Data Plus Group) who helped to win the game recording 26 points and 7 rebounds (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field) and American forward Bernice Mosby (186-84, college: Baylor) who added 19 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. Newly promoted Cajarural maintains tenth position with 6-14 record. Loser Ibiza stay at the bottom place with 17 games lost. Cajarural will face higher ranked Mann Filter (#4) in Zaragoza in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Ibiza will play on the road against Rivas Ecopolis (#5).
