Very important is a road loss of third ranked LF Basket (17-12) against sixth ranked Boras Basket (17-13) on Thursday night. Visiting LF Basket was crushed by Boras Basket in Boras 118-91. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of LF Basket. The game without a history. Boras Basket led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They shot the lights out from three nailing 16 long-distance shots on high 57.1 percentage. Boras Basket players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. LF Basket was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Lebanese-American guard Omar Krayem (185-86, college: Cal.Baptist, agency: Pro Management Agency) scored 34 points (!!!), 9 rebounds and 6 assists to lead the charge for the winners and American forward Christopher McKnight (201-87, college: Akron) chipped in 23 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was American-German center Urule Igbavboa (205-87, college: Valparaiso) with 15 points and 7 rebounds and American forward Marcus Relphorde (200-88, college: Colorado) scored 15 points and 5 rebounds. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Boras Basket moved-up to fifth place. LF Basket at the other side keeps the third position with 12 games lost. They share it with Sundsvall. Boras Basket will play against higher ranked Sundsvall Dragons (#4) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
