Basketligan round 30 caused change at the leadership position. Tenth defeat of league's leader Sodertalje Kings (19-10) against seventh ranked Uppsala Basket (16-14) 84-67 was the most important game of the last round. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Sodertalje Kings. The game was mostly controlled by Uppsala Basket. Sodertalje Kings managed to win second period 22-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Sodertalje Kings to just 5 points in first quarter. Sodertalje Kings' coach rotated eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Uppsala Basket maintains seventh position with 16-14 record. Sodertalje Kings at the other side still keep top place with ten games lost. They were joined at the leadership position by Norrkoping who have the same record. Sodertalje Kings will play next round against Eco Orebro trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Uppsala Basket will try to continue on its current victory against first ranked Norrkoping Dolphins in Norrkoping.
