Rather predictable result when fifth ranked Taiwan Mobile (6-9) won against bottom-ranked Bank of Taiwan (3-12) 70-56 on Friday. The game without a history. Taiwan Mobile led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Taiwan Mobile outrebounded Bank of Taiwan 46-33 including 31 on the defensive glass. Quite impressive performance for Canadian power forward Ryan Wright (206-87, college: Oklahoma) who helped to win the game recording 24 points and 9 rebounds. Guard An-Cheng Teng (185-85) contributed with 11 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. American power forward John Vaudreuil (203-85, college: Minn.-Duluth, agency: Warren Sports International) answered with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 16 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Po-Sheng Chang (185-87) added 12 points in the effort for Bank of Taiwan. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Taiwan Mobile maintains fifth place with 6-9 record. Bank of Taiwan lost fourth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with 12 games lost. Taiwan Mobile will face league's second-placed Yulon Luxgen in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Bank of Taiwan will play against Dacin Tigers (#3).
