Regular Season Round 20: Tarbes - Landes 70-67

The most exciting game of round 20 in the LFB took place in Tarbes. This derby game ended with only three-point defeat on the road of 5th ranked Basket Landes (10-10) to seventh ranked Tarbes (10-10) 70-67 in the game for the fifth place. The hosts trailed by 4 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 6-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 70-67. The best player for the winners was international guard Paoline Salagnac (176-84, agency: Josep and Nicolas) who scored 25 points and 5 rebounds. Four Basket Landes players scored in double figures. Tarbes moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Nantes and Landes. Basket Landes lost third consecutive game. Tarbes is looking forward to face Charleville-Mezieres (#9) on the road in the next round. Basket Landes will play against Nantes Reze (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
