Regular Season Round 28: Laurentian - RMC 61-43

The game between closely ranked teams ended with bottom-ranked RMC's (0-21) road loss to seventh ranked Laurentian (4-17) 43-61 on Friday. The game without a history. Laurentian led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Laurentian forced 28 RMC turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Erin Simpson (170) who helped to win the game recording 16 points and 6 rebounds and forward Emma Decloe (183) who added 8 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side guard Carley Lewis (178) responded with 13 points and 9 rebounds and guard Samantha Bayne (180) scored 14 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Laurentian maintains seventh position with 4-17 record. Loser RMC still closes the standings with 21 games lost. Laurentian will face higher ranked Queen's (#4) in Kingston in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. RMC will play on the road against York (#6) in Toronto and hopes to get finally their first victory.
