Regular Season Round 18: Fryshuset - Eos 68-74

There was a minor upset when 8th ranked Fryshuset (6-13) lost to eleventh ranked IK Eos (5-13) in Stockholm 68-74 on Saturday. Fryshuset trailed by 11 points after 3 quarters before a 23-18 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 68-74 at the end of the game. IK Eos forced 21 Fryshuset turnovers. It was a good game for guard Adnan Karovic (187-88) who led his team to a victory with 18 points and 4 assists. Forward Abdou Medjedoub (196-93) contributed with 13 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Center Erik Jakobsson (215-88) replied with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and Walter Lindstrom (-95) added 11 points in the effort for Fryshuset. Four Fryshuset players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players saving starting five for next games. IK Eos moved-up to ninth place in South, which they share with Hogsbo and Sanda. Loser Fryshuset keeps the eighth position with 13 games lost. IK Eos will face Norrkoping BK (#12) at home in the next round.
