Regular Season Round 7: Taiwan Mobile - Dacin Tigers 79-78

Important game to mention about was the one when fifth ranked Taiwan Mobile (6-9) saved a 1-point victory edging much higher ranked Dacin Tigers (10-6) 79-78 on Saturday evening. Dacin Tigers were ahead by 6 points after three quarters before a 22-15 charge of Taiwan Mobile, which allowed them to win the game. It was a great evening for international point guard Yi-Chieh Su (181-87) who led his team to a victory scoring 14 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists. Guard Jing-Huan Chen (190-86) helped adding 21 points and 5 rebounds. Four Taiwan Mobile players scored in double figures. Taiwan Mobile's coach Chia Fan allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. At the losing side the former international forward Lei Tien (203-83) responded with 34 points (!!!) and 6 rebounds and the former international forward Yi-Hui Lin (192-86) scored 14 points and 7 rebounds. Taiwan Mobile maintains fifth place with 6-9 record. Dacin Tigers lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the third position with six games lost. Taiwan Mobile will play against league's second-placed Yulon Luxgen in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Dacin Tigers will play against KKL and hope to get back on the winning track.
