Regular Season Round 24: AZS Kutno - MOSiR Krosno 62-63

A very close game took place in Kutno between MOSiR Krosno and AZS Kutno. Thirteenth ranked MOSiR Krosno (5-18) got a very close victory on the road over higher ranked AZS Kutno (12-10). MOSiR Krosno managed to escape with a 1-point win 63-62 on Saturday evening. It was quite big embarassment for the home team. MOSiR Krosno's coach Ryszard Zmuda used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Even 10 points and 8 rebounds by power forward Wojciech Glabas (207-90) did not help to save the game for AZS Kutno. Guard Dariusz Kalinowski (185-87) added 13 points. Despite that victory MOSiR Krosno went down to fourteenth position due to points difference. AZS Kutno at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the eighth place with ten games lost. They share the position with Polonia. MOSiR Krosno will meet at home higher ranked Polonia (#9) in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. AZS Kutno will play against Rosa Radom where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
