Another exciting game took place in Minsk where top-ranked Olimpia GrGAU (2-0) edged by three points one of their biggest challengers Gorizont (1-1) 70-67. It was a key game for the top position in League. Olimpia GrGAU made 19-of-21 charity shots (90.5 percent) during the game. Maryia Papova (183-94) orchestrated the victory by scoring 14 points and 8 rebounds. Ukrainian forward Anna Pokoiova (188-87) contributed with 19 points for the winners. Four Olimpia GrGAU players scored in double figures. Olimpia GrGAU's coach Aliaksandr Shimkovyak allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Russian-Ukrainian center Aleksandra Khomenchuk (200-89) replied with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds and forward Nadzeya Nadzezhka (179-87) added 8 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Gorizont. Olimpia GrGAU keeps a position of League leader. Defending champion Gorizont dropped to the second place with one game lost.
