Regular Season Round 29: Windsor - Western 76-57

Everything went according to plan when first ranked Windsor (20-2) outleveled at home 4th placed Western (11-11) 76-57 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Windsor. Western was better in third quarter 19-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Western 48-18 including a 18-2 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was point guard Miah-Marie Langlois (176-91) who scored 15 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals. Forward Bojana Kovacevic (180-89) chipped in 11 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Five Windsor players scored in double figures. Guard Jenny Vaughan (175-90, college: Denver) produced 12 points and 5 assists and forward Katelyn Leddy (183-89) added 11 points respectively for the guests. Western's coach Brian Cheng tested ten players seeing no chance for a win. The victory was the sixteenth consecutive win for Windsor. They maintain first place with 20-2 record. Loser Western keeps the fourth position with 11 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
