Very predictable result when seventh ranked La Union (14-11) won against 14th ranked Club 9 (8-16) in Rio Tercero 91-75 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by La Union. Club 9 was better in second period 23-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a good game for American forward Gregory Lewis (198-78, college: Winthrop, agency: Dream Team Management) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 14 rebounds. The other American import guard Joe Smith (193-77, college: Al.-Huntsville, agency: Priority Sports) contributed with 27 points for the winners. The former international guard Diego Gerbaudo (182-89) replied with 20 points and 6 assists and American power forward Jazwin Cowan (205-83, college: Hampton, agency: Dream Team Management) added 12 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Club 9. Four Club 9 players scored in double figures. La Union maintains seventh position with 14-11 record. Loser Club 9 keeps the fourteenth place with 16 games lost.
