Regular Season Round 18: LF Future - Talje 91-75

Rather predictable result when fourth ranked LF Future (12-6) won against 8th ranked Talje Knights (8-11) in Lulea 91-75 on Sunday. The hosts trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 10-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 91-75. LF Future dominated down low during the game scoring 74 of its points in the paint compared to Talje Knights' 44. It was a good game for forward Jonathan Axelsson (192-92) who led his team to a victory with 23 points and 5 rebounds. Naturalized Iraqi forward Samir Ali Hussein (200-92) contributed with 19 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Five LF Future players scored in double figures. LF Future's coach Jim Enbom let to play all 12 players saving starting five for next games. point guard Filip Kovacek (180-95) replied with 9 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists and Ninib Masso added 11 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Talje Knights. LF Future moved-up to third place in North, which they share with Akropol. Loser Talje Knights keep the eighth position with 11 games lost. LF Future will face Jarva Devils (#9) at home in the next round where they are favorite.
