Regular Season Round 32: Memorial - St.Francis X. 64-75

Everything went according to plan in St.John's, NL where first ranked X-Men (15-4) beat 8th ranked Sea Hawks (1-17) 75-64 on Sunday. The guests trailed by 8 points after first quarter, but they stormed back and won the game by 11 points. X-Men had a 26-15 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Jeremy Dunn (198) who helped to win the game recording 15 points and guard Jordan Clarke (188) who added 12 points and 6 assists during the contest. X-Men's coach Steve Konchalski used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Naturalized British swingman Mike Helsby (195-89) responded with 20 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists and center Jason Shepherd (193-89) scored 16 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. X-Men have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 15-4 record. Sea Hawks lost sixteenth consecutive game. They keep the eighth place with 17 games lost. X-Men will face Huskies (#5) in Halifax, NS in the next round. Sea Hawks will play on the road against Axemen in Wolfville, NS.
