There was a minor upset when 4th placed Comsum.it SI (7-16) was outscored on the road by fourth ranked Casalpusterlengo (13-11) 89-68 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Casalpusterlengo. Comsum.it SI was better in fourth quarter 23-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Casalpusterlengo forced 25 Comsum.it SI turnovers and had a 14-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a very good performance for forward Giampaolo Ricci (200-91) who helped to win the game recording 9 points and 11 rebounds. Guard Roberto Prandin (188-86) contributed with 17 points for the winners. Swingman Andrea Colli (203-88, agency: Players Group) answered with 21 points and 7 rebounds and forward Stefano Simeoli (200-86) added 11 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists in the effort for Comsum.it SI. Four Comsum.it SI players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Casalpusterlengo keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Bari. Comsum.it SI lost their third game in a row. They keep the fourth place with 16 games lost. Casalpusterlengo will face league's second-placed Torino at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Comsum.it SI will play against the league's leader Trento.
