Regular Season Round 7: Bank of Taiwan - Pure Youth 66-85

No shocking result in a game when first ranked Pure Youth (12-4) crushed bottom-ranked Bank of Taiwan (3-12) 85-66 on Sunday. Pure Youth trailed by 3 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 4-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 85-66. Pure Youth dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Bank of Taiwan's 32. It was a very good performance for American power forward Quincy Davis (206-83, college: Tulane) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds. Guard Chi-Hao Ke (181-85) contributed with 19 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. American power forward John Vaudreuil (203-85, college: Minn.-Duluth, agency: Warren Sports International) answered with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 19 rebounds and forward Hsiao-Wen Chuan (190-83) added 18 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Bank of Taiwan. Four Bank of Taiwan players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Pure Youth maintains first place with 12-4 record. Bank of Taiwan lost fourth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with 12 games lost. Pure Youth will face Taiwan Beer (#4) in the next round. Bank of Taiwan will play against Dacin Tigers.
