No shocking result in a game when fifth ranked Umbertide (10-5) defeated at home bottom-ranked Alcamo (2-15) 53-38 on Sunday. The game without a history. Umbertide led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Alcamo to just 7 points in first quarter. Umbertide held Alcamo to an opponent 23.0 percent shooting from the field compared to 40.7 percent accuracy of the winners. Umbertide forced 22 Alcamo turnovers. Montenegrin power forward Milica Jovanovic (189-89) stepped up and scored 12 points for the winners and American power forward Tiffany Stansbury (191-83, college: N.Carolina St.) chipped in 6 points and 6 rebounds.
