The game between closely ranked teams ended with 10th ranked Priolo's (4-12) road loss to ninth ranked Pall.Pozzuoli (6-11) 53-75 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Pall.Pozzuoli. Priolo managed to win second period 15-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Pall.Pozzuoli forced 25 Priolo turnovers. Cuban forward Tania Seino (186-73) responded with 17 points and 7 rebounds and Serbian swingman Tanja Cirov (181-81) scored 9 points and 5 rebounds. Pall.Pozzuoli maintains ninth place with 6-11 record. Priolo lost their third game in a row. They keep the tenth position with 12 games lost. Pall.Pozzuoli will meet league's leader Taranto on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
